Follow the MS in Financial Engineering Program
The program takes full advantage of the colleges of Mathematics, Engineering and Finance by immersing the students within each campus amongst a plethora ot other type of students. Engineering courses make use of optimization methods and techniques, while the Finance Courses Primary focus is on Bonds, MBS, Futures, Hedging, Risk while the mathematics courses provide the momentum to propel the students in the quantum approach.
In addition, the program layers a deep level of practical experience for the student by providing access to a varied landscape of projects, corporate sponsors, internship programs, MFE alum.
Corporate Projects: The program is now embedded amongst several sponsoring companies in various fields of interests (Asset management, Data Analytics, Blockchain, Alternative Trading Signals …) via academic and real-life projects. All the projects benefit from the insights of corporate executives. Student meets periodically with those sponsors and amongst themselves as a team. Students have the opportunities to include those projects with their 2-semester capstone projects but have the ability to continue on projects beyond the capstone.
Capstone Project, Professional Development, Networking, Internship Program
The yearlong Capstone Projects expose students to concepts such NLP, Neural Networks, DeFI, Multi Factor Models, Trading Algorithms.
The weekly Professional Development Course provides multiple networking opportunities via MFE Alum interactions, .
The annual Lehigh Quant / Financial Engineering conference provides a platform for students who want to present their significant project findings while enhancing their network with third party conference participants.
A newly designed Internship Program will enable students to rotate through various quant internships enabled by our program close relationship with several niche firms.
