    Steve Cohen saves $139 million...

As long as he is liquid (can get more $ and purchase more artwork or doesnt have investors that want to cash out immediately) he can do this ad infinitum. He does not have to buy another art work and can just sell something to someone at a higher price than he bought it (i.e. he can wait) ...

good question? So the relevance of this article is how chance intercedes in life? Or to talk about Steve Cohen who runs and art buying hedge-fund? or Steve Wynn who runs a casino (makes $ off people's bad bets and wound up doing it himself in a sense? I will admit the article is entertaining.

    Covered Calls

Not that conservative, by the way. If stock is now at 20.64 and call is priced at 3.10 (I'm neglecting trading costs for simplicity) You limit your profit but not neccesarily your loss, once stock goes to 17.54 (20.64-3.10) you start losing money. If you use this you have to make sure that you...

Kevin, I agree with you completely. Btw by drinking socially I do not mean getting obsecenely socially drunk because that will ruin your chances. Alcohol use helps boost income: study

You dont buy that people who socialize more especially with their bosses get promoted quicker than those who dont? I think this argument is actually pretty obvious. It just happens to use alcohol as a factor i.e. going out to bars and socializing. This builds bonding which definitely helps

  77. R

Is one C++ programming course enough?

I want enough programming to be able to write algorithms, that is why I like the elective route. Also C++ programming is a requirement to get in so we all have some background in programming(1 class, experience)
  78. R

Is one C++ programming course enough?

We do have C++ in our classes (we had 2 programs we had to write in Advanced Calc). Now the question is did you use classes, objects functions or did you do what I tend to do (i.e. code, get result and then improve the program after the result)
  79. R

Is one C++ programming course enough?
