This is our biggest annual social event for members of Quant Network to meet over great food, nice weather in one of the nicest places in the Big Apple.

This year marks our 4th picnic event and promises to bring together students and alumni of many MFE programs, Wall Street professionals along with their family and friends. It's perfect way to network with fellow members, future colleagues and build a better sense of community among Quantnet members.

You are all invited to join the picnic, bring your friends and family out for a fun day at the park.

Thanks for organizing this Andy. Hopefully a lot of QN members can come out. Would be great to meet them.

I hope I will be able to make it. Would be interesting.

We have about 100 confirmed guests and their family, friends at this point so this promises to be a great meetup/networking event for all of our members.

With this huge number, we want to provide a variety on food so if you like something specific, let us know. Indian, Chinese, Korean? (What, where to buy)?

Sat forecast is mid 70F so it will be perfect for some outdoor sport activities.

I think a little bit of everything will be great. Indian Samosas...some fried dumplings...some rolls...sandwiches..etc

A few last minute reminders

1. The weather for tomorrow is around 82F with lot of sun so wear accordingly.
2. Someone asked on our RSVP page if they should wear a suit. The answer is NO. This is a casual picnic, not an interview (you will make plenty of professional contacts nonetheless). Most people wear t-shirt, jeans.
3. If you have business cards, bring them.
4. If you have sporting items (Frisbee, balls, etc) bring them.
5. If you bring children, it's a good idea to bring a picnic blanket as well.
6. We order plenty of food but you are welcome to bring your own dishes to share.
7. If you take pics, please share with us on our Facebook page
