I'm a student considering career in quantative finance field. (not in yet) I have some rough knowledge about this field absorbing from different sources. Personally, I'm good at programming (CS background), strong in math, and extremely passionate about forex market. I wish to pursue a career as a quant in forex market. But I heard this area (forex market) has very limited career prospect for quant. I just don't understand why. Based on what I knew, you can do a lot of algo trading or high freq trading or arbitraging on forex market,(am i right?) if you are good. But why I seldom heard ppl wanna enter this field (refer to forex) as quant ?
