Hello all, thanks for reading.
Recently received an offer this summer to pursue a real estate internship at a regional bank. Very excited. However, I also have an opportunity to do research in ML/Quant under a professor at my school this summer. The dates for both programs seem to line up. Given that I see myself in an MFE in a year and a half, what would better my application to graduate school?

thanks.

Personally, I'll pick ML/Quant research under a Professor. Many of the top schools value research work more than internships. You can make a good case if the internship is a relevant one but in this case, I don't think it is. You can also get good LOR from the Professor which could be a deal breaker at times. If money is not a problem, I'd advise that you go for the research work.
