If you haven't installed Firefox browser, I'd highly recommend that you download and use it instead of Internet Explorer. It's faster and much more secure compared to IE. I have used it for the last 3 years with great satisfication. Quantnet is optimized to load faster in Firefox as well.

Uninstall it before clicking on the link to dl and install again ?
You can also install it on other PC as well.

i have tried this referral ads on QN before in Oct 06.
7 downloads and 0 conversions.

I guess Google is interested in having Google Toolbar installed on our machines

I'm going to uninstall Firefox and install it with Google Toolbar

... I don't think it worked in my case, I don't see the Google Toolbar
