After reading previous post about the average salary of quant. I wonder where is my 'ideal position' fit in...I'd like to complete MFE & get a job in risk management dept, somewhere I can apply my math skills. People told me this is different from 'quant' job which usually requires a PhD. How would you define the line between these job titles? And how different would the salary be?
