The Baruch MFE Program will offer a certificate on ``How to Run a Hedge Fund” that will address the process of both choosing to open a hedge fund and how to set one up once the decision has been made.

The course will cover the many considerations leading up to starting your own fund, including choice of partners, seed investments and other considerations. It will then address the specific process related to fund set up, service provider choice, marketing, and other related factors.

Registration is limited to 30 seats; 8 seats are still available.

Schedule

In-person: February 25 and 26, 9am-6pm, Baruch College (Lexington Avenue at 24th Street);

Virtual: March 4 and March 5

Instructor

Ken Weiller - Partner and Chief Operating Officer, X Cubed Capital Management. Among other prior roles, Ken was Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Saba Capital Management which he joined at inception and was responsible for all aspects of the firm’s launch as well as management of all non-Investment related functions, as well as Director of Trading Administration at S.A.C. Capital Advisors, and an economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of NY. Ken earned an AM and PhD in economics from Harvard University, an MA in economics from Tufts University, and a BA in economics from St. Lawrence University.
