Job Description:
The International Association of Financial Engineers (IAFE) - a small, non-profit, professional society dedicated to advancing the field of quantitative finance - is seeking a part-time employee to assist updating and maintaining the IAFE Members Website. This will include collecting articles and writing abstracts, Monitoring of Member Forums, and Editing of the Financial Engineering Wiki. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, self-starter who can learn projects and then manage them independently. The candidate must currently be enrolled in a PhD level program in a field related to Quantitative Finance and have very strong writing and general communication skills. The position will consist of 15-18 flexible hours a week during normal business hours. This position is in Midtown Manhattan and is best for someone who can commit for at least a year. Salary is $20/hr.
