Hi:

I would really appreciate if someone can post feedback on using MATLAB for calculus?

Regards
Arup

Matlab makes Calculus (math for that matter), very easy. Some integration/defferentiation problems can takes hours and pages to do by hand but takes a few seconds to type out in Matlab. If you are taking Cal I,II,III, I"m not sure the point of using Matlab to solve them.

at baruch our fingers get slapped 20 times with a ruler for merely mentioning the name of that program - C++ only. [-X
however, some renegades often use it to check whether their manual and C++ computations derive at correct answers.

seriously though, many find it a helpful complement to our typical C++ tools, not their replacement. can save a significant amount of time. i don't know how it stacks against Mathematica and other similar programs.
