MFE vs. Trading Job

Hello all,

I have a spot at a top MFE program and a trading offer from a well-regarded HF. I would like some thoughts on which would be the better option to take.

My stats:

- Target undergrad school
- Good grades in a quantitative major
- One year experience as a desk quant

I am interested in pursuing a career as a quant/trader/quant trader.

Thanks!

Congrats on both offers. Great job.
I'll take the job over MFE. Work, gain experience to make sure this is the line of work you want to do in the long term.
Go back to MFE program in the future if it helps advance your career. You will know better why you need MFE and what you need to study.
