Hello people,
I'm looking at an Master of Science in Finance(MFin/MSF) as an alternative to an MFE, should I not secure admission in a target MFE program.
I wanted to know more about MFins that are more quantitatively oriented; ones which could propel a student into more mathematical areas such as Derivatives Pricing or Asset, Risk Management. While fully aware that the programs offered by MIT Sloan and Princeton (Bendheim) fall under this umbrella, I wanted to know of other such ones.
How quantitative are European MSFs, like the ones offered by elite schools such as HEC Paris, Edhec, IE, St Gallen and Frankfurt School of Finance? Can they be customized in a way that would lead to a career in Quantitative Finace?
And what about other MFins in the United States?
Thanks in advance.
