Hi All,

After I decided to apply for Mfe school, I spent about 6-7 hours to read Master reading list for Quants, MFE (Financial Engineering) students(PDF files mostly) and QuantNet Forum to figure out what I want to pursue upon graduation.

Since this is new field to me, it's hard to understand what real current market situation is and what could be realistic career plan for me. I'd like to align my personal traits and each roles skillset and figure out what could be my suitable place. I want to know each role's function with required skillsets (Does it change depend on the field? eg.IB,HF,AM,etc), exit opportunities, and current/future(expected) market value. If someone can give me either brief introduction or guideline to study this matter, I would very much appreciate it.

Thank you in advance.

Blake
