Most of my questions around the program is actually on the career and internship opportunities that are available post graduation. Going by the information I found online, UIUC seems to have a very strong network of companies that they partner with for field trips, industry practicums, and seminars. They advertise that we get to use the resources of 2 schools in our job hunt, which seems very lucrative to me.

Moreover, I really like the curriculum and the idea of having an industry practicum to get you prepared for the industry. UIUC as a university is also quite reputed, and as a place I really like the campus town.

But the latest statistics in the program page says that the employment rate at the time of graduation is 54% which seemed a little low to me. Do students generally struggle to find full-time opportunities once the program is done? Could some current students shed some light into how they're experience has been so far and how its been going for them.
