Hi, I'm an undergraduate of University of London International Programmes. My goal is to become a Quant.
I'm just wondering which PhD is better to be a quant whether PhD in "Applied mathematics" OR PhD in "Mathematical finance" aka Quantitative Finance.
(I'm aware that,Mathematical finance is a field of Applied Mathematics, concerned with financial markets. But want to know the pros and cons of doing each, and the better one. )
Thanks in advance..
