I am looking at this book here:
Philippe Jorion, Financial Risk Manager Handbook, Wiley
Financial Risk Manager Handbook, 5th Edition

I am wondering if this is suitable reading for a student in Financial Engineering? I think the math level in this book is poor and the focus is not on the computation and mathematical derivations. Personally I believe this is a good bool for Business School courses and not MFE. What do you guys think? Isn't this book a bit too "soft"?
