Currently pursuing undergrad degree at Ohio State University with a double major in financial mathematics and honors computer science with specialization in engineering
Math Coursework: calc 3, linear algebra, ode/pde, mathematical statistics 1&2, scientific computing, intro financial mathematics, theory of interest, financial economies
ML/AI Coursework: intro to ai, data mining, computer vision, ml & statistical pattern recogniition
GPA ~ 3.8
GRE: 168 Quant
Work exp: a couple of SWE internships, some in finance industry
Research: 2 articles published on ML applicatios in finance industry
Projects: Developed some financial predictive models with machine learning
My goals: getting into risk/portfolio/asset management
MFE of top interests:
GT MQF, North Carolina, NYU Tandon
My top choice is GT, what do I need o work on to get more compettive?
