Quant Internship Europe Summer 2025

Hello , it's my understanding that for roles in Europe, application deadlines aren't like in the US where you must apply almost a year before, is that true or am I late to apply for quant roles in Europe for this summer ? If not , what are quant internships you guys might recommend applying to?

I'm not familiar with quant internships in Europe but in the US, the trend is that positions are listed sooner and sooner.
Now, I see internships for summer 2027 are being announced. I think it's a nature of those positions being very competitive.
In some cases, there are 1000 applications for 1 position.
