Hi Everyone,

I got some questions about my personal background for applying MFE program.

I am a finance major student with overall GPA is 3.4, and major GPA is 3.75. When I was a sophomore, I took financial modeling course (corporate finance), and I start to understand that I am the person who passionate about Quantitative finance or financial modeling. Now I am the Ta of financial modeling course (corporate finance ) and want to apply for the MFE program.

To improve my background, I am learning some basic quantities finance method and model like black-scholars, Greek, Monte carols and taking the Baruch's C++ online course now.

Also, I learned VBA, Python and took some math courses to improve my profile. Like (calculus 1, 2 , multiple variable and differential equation.)

However, I did not get a really good grade in some of my math courses.

1. I got (2.00/4.00) in my (Calculus 2 and multiple variable). Are those hurt my profile a lot?

2. I am going to take linear algebra during my spring semester. But it already passed the deadline for the application, should I state this situation in my Ps?

3. Under my situation, what should I do now, I mean to enhance my advantages?

Thanks You.
