Recommendation Letter

Quick question guys,

so my application says: one recommendation letter should come from a person who should speak of my quantitative abilities.

Should I ask my Timer Series Econometrics Professor for a recommendation (who know me very well) or I should ask one of my Math professors that know me but not as much as my econometrics professor does.
