They spun out of Barclays. They are completely HFT, no physical traders, and they have done very well the past couple of years, expanding into hiring more people and paying more compensation. They have a small capital base compared to some hedge funds, but that's typical of this type of strategy--it can be very very profitable, but not as hugely scalable.
