Ugrad in math/econ: now what?

Hello, I have a question that many of you might regard completely bizarre and immature (and perhaps rightly so). I am close to finishing a double major in math (pure, with some probability/stats/regression analysis stuff crouses) and econ with a 3.8-3.9 GPA from a top 10-20 university/lib arts college. I chose the majors because I like econ and math a lot, and I have had finance as well as international relations/politics/policy-ey internships. Now to my question... I am not sure what I want to do in life (still), and I am open to finance, economics, political science/international relations (got some language skills for this, I am not a US citizen but an international student), etc. I am wondering what graduate programs in the US/(even UK?) are accessible to math/econ double majors with some experience in public policy as well as finance? Now I am not talking about ALL the programs, but perhaps the more relevant ones. I have already seen MA in economics -- many people say it's a waste of time (as well as MA in IR apparently, anything on that?) There are also various programs like mathematical finance, operations research, financial engineering etc. etc. Ideally, I would maybe be looking for something public-policy oriented where my quantitative math/econ background would give me an edge. But basically if you have any advice or can think of any options I could look at to make a decision for myself, I would be very glad and thankful! I do realize that this is a ridiculously open-ended question, but I just wanted to hear as many suggestions and see as many options as possible to complement my own research of programs. Thanks to all of you!!!

you might want to check out programs like sipa at columbia.
