I am an math major, I plan to take Undergraduate Time series, numercial linear algebra (graduate ,in matlab), and an Introduction course to QF(graduate level), but they all have the SAME CLASS TIME!!

I can only choose one, so which one should I pick if I want to apply for a MFE. The course syllabus is following:

undergraduate time series: http://www.ams.sunysb.edu/undergraduate/undergrad/AMS316Webpage.html

numerical linear algebra: http://www.ams.sunysb.edu/graduate/grad/AMS526Webpage.html

Introduction course in QF: http://www.ams.sunysb.edu/graduate/grad/AMS511Webpage.html

Besides, I am a pure math major, I know nothing about finance, but I know measure theory, and currently studying stochastic calculus.

Thank you !

did you ask this to your advisor at stony brook?
if yes, what did they say?
if no, why not?

My choice would be to take intro to QF, it will give you the basics of mathematical finance.

Thanks you.

I personally prefer Time series, the instructor graduate from Stanford statistics with a master in financial mathematics and a phD, it would be great if he can write a recommendation.

what do you think?

Thank you. XD

that's up to you, I guess if you can get a good letter from this professor it will surely help your application file.
