I wonder which is the most common time interval between employees receive salaries... Once a month, once a week...? Is it ever depended on position of an employee (commonly)?
Different countries follow different rules as I know...Which one have you come across more frequently?

I believe monthly would be the standard, everywhere, in most permanent jobs.

For contract based jobs, it could be daily/weekly/monthly. For high paying contractual jobs, I've also heard hourly rate.

Thanks rishab! I assume you mean giving salaries not accruing (like hourly rate). So most of the employees receive salaries once a month...

If by salary you mean how often you get paid, the standard in the US is either Weekly, bi-weekly or twice a month.

Yes I meant it. In most countries the standard for permanent jobs is monthly as rashib says.
