about GRE score

how important is GRE for the application for top mfe program? especially for verbal and aw?
does 3.0 aw really hurt a lot?

If you are international you can prove your written skills with the TOEFL writing part, as well as with the required essays. I had a 3.5 in the GRE...and I also had a low verbal grade

i just took my gre verbal and got a 50 ish on verbal. i am also international

I took it a couple days ago, still did not get score for writing section. i guess my math background is not as strong as you are, so i am a little concerned about application to cornell.
