Hello! I have already defined the derivatives theories in C# and need to reset the code into GUI. In short, I have defined all the methods and functions, simulation techniques, etc. and now Im gonna develop GUI interface. So I need an advice which Grid component to use. The reason why Im asking this question is that I have looked through many of them but I have been suggested that some of them are quick and some are slow. I need to purchase one from the internet and need recommendation if you have any experience with it and which one would you suggest to purchase. Thank you

Look at what a WPF has to offer. It is rich in components and it is used in majority of Hedge Funds. It provides fast rendering using DirectX which in turn uses the GPU to speed up things.

One caveat, my developer used to work for a pharmaceutical company and developed its website/product using ComponentOne. When he worked with me at a bank, he spent quite sometime learning WPF and did lot of stuff with it.
I just stick to the built-in Windows Forms library in Visual Studio. I'm sure now with .NET at 4.0, you have more options than before.

I used Dundas for their Chart package which gives me more control for the interactive data intensive trading GUI i was working on at the time.

Most grid options out there are to solve a niche market. If you don't have one, stick to the stock software.

oops...I should have read more carefully. Sorry about the misleading link (which is a good read nevertheless if you are thinking about distributing parts of your MC sims).

check out DataTable in .NET, its designed for SQL tables but can be adapted to your need and then easily hooked up to windows GUI.
