@Paul Lopez, how would one try to go about self-learning using this license? Or is it overkill? I had seen this textbook by Paul Bilokon, which could be an option. I'm option to suggestions!

Plan to play with it more myself tonight to see what the license can do. Great query language that I've used a lot for high frequency data. That book looks beautiful I'll definitely check it out.

@APalley Would be great to get your input for q/kdb in general as well.
