Interview Invites

MIT did mention that they’d reach back for interviews “towards the end of January”. Guess we’ll just have to wait it out.

I just received an invitation from Columbia MSFE (seems like a one-way interview with pre-recorded questions like with Cornell).

@noether-skolem Congratulations on getting the interview. I thought Columbia is done with sending invites. Any idea about CMU, can I still expect an invite from CMU?

Thank you. I haven't heard anything from CMU so far, but I'll post another update here if they eventually invite me for an interview.

Hello! Has MIT sent out interview invitations? Or has princeton sent out a second round of invites?

Received an invite for MIT. Any idea what their quantitative assessment section is about? I assume they want to test your math, but what exactly?

Anyone hears anything from Princeton? Did they just rolled out interviews once ? Jan is supposed to be the only time for interviews

Is an interview invite necessary to get into Columbia MFE? Haven’t gotten an interview invite yet, can I still be hopeful about my chances of being admitted?

Anyone knows how the format of CMU interview is like?
It’s completely chill. More of a conversation About career goals, standard questions like why masters etc. The interviewer is extremely polite and very chill. Keeps on smiling throughout and makes you feel comfortable
