I want a job in finance to make some money. I want to know if I need the PhD for that.
If Quants make millions I want that. If there is another math-related job that makes as much money as possible please tell me which is.
Most traders are not quants. Most quants are not traders.Isn't a trader subset of quant

how much risk are you willing to take?I want to live for my job, wont have a family, so, which is the most money making job I can do?
This is what you've just said: "I want to live for my job, wont have a family, so, which is the most money making job I can do?".
Read it 10 times, and think deeply about it.
However, this is the real answer nobody is going to tell you: the most money making job is still the "call girl" also called the "female escort". If you're a man, no problem, you'll get even more money. With such a job you can take all the "necessary risk", as you stated.
Sorry but this is the only answer I can give to someone who says: "I just want a job that makes me rich."
I only want to know if quant is the most payed math related job in finance.
Most traders are not quants. Most quants are not traders.
I would reckon these guys make more than your call girls
