My question was, what are the areas in which a Financial Engineer can open his own business/company (like algorithmic trading etc..)?
not everyone can become a trader, so what are the other kind of business can he/she go for?

If you can code decent well and have an understanding of some of the modern languages/frameworks, you can probably build a decent web-app that makes money. No need to be focused on the finance. In fact, 3rd party risk/analytics software platforms seem crowded.

It all depends on you where you want to apply your knowledge , Game theory has its wide applications in Biology.... MFE can be used in even to determine where to open a restaurant

The maths/finance is the easy part. You will have bigger challenges. But you will meet them when you jump in. Most are non-technical.
