  • Hi Andy. I have seen your name involved with several of the job related postings. Is this a good forum, in your opinion, for posting open positions? Thanks.

Depends on the target audience for those postings which are not free by the way.

Thanks for the reply andy, Like Verizon Communications 10yr CDS,(CVZGF1U10),also for 7yr,(CT361045 Curncy). CA Inc 10yr (CCA1U10),7yr(CCA1u7 Curncy) are not available to download from Bloomberg, I use both BDH function and try to download from the CDS curve using CDSH. It saids that the only source contributor available is CMN. I believe MARKIT also works, since those are the component of CDX.NA.IG.18 from MARKIT.

    Hello
I am a postgraduate student, I will do my dissertation on the influence of ABX index at the banks. I need the historical prices of the ABX index from 2006 to 2011, can anyone help me with the historical data? My dissertation is a master level so university will not pay for the data and I have to find them on my own.
    Hi Andy
I got a scholarship for an MFE from a new program (2010) in a low rank US university. Since I cannot afford high tuitions of those prestigious schools, this seems a great opportunity.
However, it is very important to find a job as an intl. student.I am motivated and talented and I believe that I can excel myself in a year (Not Fin background). Do you think it can compensate for school profile?

Hello Andy. Your posts on the forum are very helpful and I very much appreciate your contribution. I am just wondering if the C++ training course will be offered after this summer? Or when will the enrollment for the program end? I am currently taking summer courses and might not have time to go through the program as yet. Thank you!

    Andy,
I got MSc Fin Math / MFE offers from the following universities in UK:
    1. Birkbeck College, University of London
    2. University of Leicester
    3. University of Essex
    4. University of York
But I am still thinking which one to pick. Obviously Birkbeck and York are better deals. May you or your friends give me some advices on this?
    Thanks a lot.

Hello Andy, I might be wrong but did i read somewhere in quantnet that C++ programming level I and level 2 are open to any users. If so do you think I can join the program too for level I and level 2.
    Thanks,

Love the website: has been of tremendous help. I was wondering if it would be possible to include the quantitative finance masters at Olin (Washington University) in the tracker. It is actually a pretty big program.
    Thanks
