Dear Applicants,

Thank you to those of you who have already signed up for a timeslot to interview with IEOR Admissions. If you haven’t already, please do so as soon as possible. Please sign up for time slots before February 12 to assist us in making a timely review of your application. If you’ve scheduled a date after that, you can reschedule your interview by just changing it in the signup website. Note that there are other times available after the 12th but they are intended for applicants to other IEOR programs. The earlier you do your interview, the better.

What is everyone's current status? Is there any webpage saying "pending" or "under review" or something like that? My status page simply says "application submitted" and it never changes, though I had my interview last week.

but from tracker it seems that almost all the admitted students got interviews...so...can i think the tracker is just a small sample and cannot represent population?

I think a few people got admitted without interview. But there's nothing we can do now.

I got interviewed by Columbia on Feb 5, but today I received an almost same email again from Columbia asking me to have an interview on Feb 21 or Feb 22. Does anyone have the same problem? Does it mean it will be a second interview or just a mistake?

I don't see why today is a holiday but I know other people who also get the email today. But for them, it is the first interview invitation.

Someone said they started conducting another round of interviews, so does it mean the results won't be announced around these days?

I got the same email as well. My first interview was 2 weeks ago. I take this as we are at the bottom of the first round, and they want to evaluate us together with the second round. But having an interview is better than nothing, just prepare for another interview and hope for the best.

I remember something similar happened last year. The reason is that the admission people scheduled people twice because of mistake. It's very likely what is happening here. There are so many people and so many slots so they may not be able to keep track accurately of everyone.

Just tell them that you are already interviewed. They may not have that record.

I had my interview two weeks ago, but I got an additional invitation today
(they said it was a system error) . Here is the part of invitation email that was not included in the first round.
"Please note that it is likely some admissions decisions will be made for other students before your interview at the end of the week. Rest assured that we will not make a decision on your application until after your interview."

I got the second invitation as well. Did you confirm with them about it being a system error?

Yep. I called them. Then I got an additional email saying it was a mistake.
