Firefox browser

Upgraded but haven't used it much. The new interface resembles Google Chrome. Most of the plug-ins don't work in the new version.

I upgraded a couple of days back and like it so far. Does anyone know how to resize the google search box? It's way too small and there doesn't seem to be a way to change that. A setting in about:config? That's the only thing that's bothered me until now.

The one in the upper right? It has a slider bar. Just drag the left side.

Been using it since beta7. I like it.

I read the same suggestion on other forums as well, but I don't seem to have a slider. I'm using it on a mac, just to clarify.

I get used to the Chrome refresh button on the left, next to Back/Forward buttons. Now, they move it it to the right, after the address bar so it's a bit weird at first.

I just use F5. I think that is universal.

I downloaded it I think the day prior to it getting released (think it leaked somewhere).

I like it. Still like chrome the best but I use FF at work and I think it has some decent improvements. I'm still learning all the new functionality.

I'm most looking forward to the HTML5 features as I plan to build some mobile app for Quantnet and don't want to depend on Flash for video embed ( iPhone/iPad does not have support Flash)

Same here, couldn't get used to it at first, until I moved the buttons to the left in Firefox as well ;)
The only feature I'm missing from Chrome is the auto-translate. I visit some simplified chinese forums, but I read tradition chinese much faster and Chrome had a feature to auto translate the page to whatever language I want automatically.

I didn't know it was possible so after seeing your post, I googled and the first post go the answer. You can move the button layout around
View -> Toolbars -> Customize / Right-Click -> Customize

I'm just gonna download Firefox since I'm an Opera user and Explorer 9. Hope it removes the problem I was talking about few days ago. Isn't FF 5.0 a beta version yet?

I've used Firefox for years up until recently, but I don't understand Firefox's new build deployment model. I love having new versions jettisoned out as quickly as their built, but Mozilla is completely giving up any shot it had at the enterprise market since they eliminate support for the previous version upon every new release.
